WOW CHILDRENS GROUP PRE-SCHOOL AGE 3-RECEPTION

Wow is led by a small team of skilled volunteer children’s workers The aim is that when children are settled, their parents are able to enjoy the adult morning Bible teaching. The Wow morning sessions help the youngest children at SBHR learn more about following Jesus and other faithful Bible characters through music and fun activities in a safe and secure environment. It is wonderful to see the way children in Wow develop their faith and understanding through what they learn across the week.

CHAMPIONS CHILDRENS GROUP

YEARS 1-5

Champions is led again this year by John Hardwick, who is a long-term favourite with all those young and young at heart! John is a full-time singer, songwriter, interactive storyteller and youth evangelist who has written several books and hundreds of songs. We hope John will bring his friend Charlie the cheeky monkey along again to ‘help him’! All the morning sessions will be action-packed, full of fun and games, with action songs, exciting Bible stories and learning in reflective Bible study groups. John will also be leading our all-age worship meeting.

SPRITE YOUNG PEOPLES GROUP YEARS 6-9

This is the 5th year that Rachel has led Sprite. Rachel is a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School so loves bringing creativity to the Sprite programme. She is supported by her husband Des and other amazing skilled volunteers. The Sprite team looks forward to spending time with the young people; some who’ve enjoyed the group before, and others will be new this year. We will be finding out what the Bible says about “How to Live a Spirit Filled Life, and how to apply what we learn in our lives. There will be interactive learning and refreshments in the mornings, followed by fun and games in the evenings. 

‘YOUTH’ GROUP YEARS 10-13

We are a vibrant youth leadership group from all over the UK, who come together for SBHR. We all grew up in CCCF and have been working together for years, but getting us all together is a challenge, so you may only see some of us at SBHR! We take the opportunity to serve Youth to ensure you get the same great experience we did. We're passionate about making the content of our nightly meetings both spiritually uplifting and hilariously fun, resulting in an enjoyable combination of learning and madness each evening. The evening meetings are packed with energetic, non-sensical games and challenges -requiring you to work together and form a team - heartfelt worship and prayer - enabling you to study the Bible and strengthen your relationship with God – but there’s plenty of time to connect with each another too. Whether you're up for a competitive challenge, a deep conversation, or just to laugh until your sides hurt, we can’t wait to share it with you in the Youth meetings!
