WOW! - JILL IS LEADING THE WOW GROUP - AGES 3 TO RECEPTION

I am very happy to be leading WOW again. I was a Primary School Teacher for nearly 40 years at KS1 and pre-school. I have a particular passion for Special Needs and English. My husband Andy and I
now enjoy semi-retirement, and also spending time with our two grandchildren. I have enjoyed responsibility for Children’s Ministries in our Church. My focus in children’s work is based on my personal experience of knowing Jesus from being just 6 years old, so I’d like young children to have a similar experience that I had. My background helps me provide exciting activities to enable our precious young children to explore the Bible and to experience the unchanging Love of God.

Champions - JOHN WILL BE LEADING THE CHAMPIONS GROUP YEARS 1-5

Champions is led again this year by John Hardwick. John is a singer, songwriter, interactive storyteller and youth evangelist who has written several books and hundreds of songs. We hope John will bring his friend Charlie the cheeky monkey to
‘help him’! All the morning sessions will be action-packed, full of fun and games, with action songs, exciting Bible stories and learning in reflective Bible study groups.

Sprite - RACHEL WILL BE LEADING THE SPRITE GROUP SCHOOL YEARS 6-9

This is the 4th year running I’ve had the privilege of leading Sprite. I’m a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School so I love being creative and bringing that creativity to the Sprite programme. I am supported by my husband Des and the other amazing volunteers. We look forward to spending time with the young people; some who we’ve met before, and others are new each year. We’ll be delving into the Bible to help our faith grow, focussing on the challenges and beauty of being our “authentic selves”, and we will look for ways to apply what we learn in our lives. There will be interactive learning and refreshments in the mornings, followed by fun and games in the evenings.

Youth - THE YOUTH TEAM WILL BE LEADING THE YOUTH GROUP 10-13

We are a vibrant youth leadership group from all over the UK, who come together for the our usual Spring Bank holiday adventures. The Youth team is Martyn, Richard, Beth, Rebecca, Emma, Steph, Andy, and Naomi. We all grew up in CCCF and have been serving and working together for years, but getting us all together can sometimes be a challenge, so you

may only see a handful of us at SBHR! We take the opportunity to

serve Youth to ensure you get the same great experience we did. We're hugely passionate about making the content of our nightly meetings both spiritually uplifting and hilariously fun, resulting in an enjoyable combination of learning and madness each evening. The evening meetings are packed with energetic, nonsensical games and challenges - requiring you to work together and form a team - heartfelt worship and prayer - enabling you to study the Bible and strengthen your relationship with God – but there’s plenty of time to connect with one another too. Whether you're up for a competitive challenge, a deep conversation, or just to laugh until your sides hurt, there's always something exciting happening, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
